ANTHONY BELLINO
Anthony Bellino is one of Michigan’s most recognizable sports voices, bringing fans an insider’s perspective shaped by years on the sidelines, behind the microphone, and in some of the state’s biggest sports venues. A native of Ann Arbor and graduate of Monroe St. Mary Catholic Central, Bellino has built a career that spans radio, television, public address announcing, and live event hosting.
Anthony currently serves as the in-game host for the Detroit Lions and University of Michigan football programs, while also working as the public address announcer for University of Michigan men’s and women’s basketball and University of Toledo basketball. His experience includes roles with the Detroit Tigers, Detroit Red Wings, Toledo Mud Hens, Toledo Walleye, and Jacksonville Jaguars organizations.
A veteran broadcaster who began his career as an intern on WJR’s Paul W. Smith Show, Bellino has spent more than a decade covering Michigan sports and delivering insightful commentary to listeners across the region. In addition to Mid Morning Blitz, Anthony can be heard weeknights as co-host of SportsWrap alongside Detroit Lions great Lomas Brown on WJR and WTKA.
Off the air, Bellino helps operate his family’s Monroe business, Danny’s Fine Foods, where he works as a fourth-generation butcher. That combination of blue-collar roots and big-stage experience has made him a relatable and trusted voice for sports fans across Michigan.
